Texas Oncology is looking for an Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team! This position will support the Infusion Department at our Midlothian and Dallas, Tx location. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday (8:30 am–5 pm) position with no weekends, calls, or major holidays. Long‑TermIncentive Plan (LTIP)
LTIP is an incentive program that typically vests over a three‑year period and is tied to individual performance and the operational success of Texas Oncology
. Awards are discretionary and based on your position, performance, and potential for future growth. Awards are reviewed and approved during the annual compensation review and are subject to continued employment. LTIP is governed by the written terms and conditions of the LTIP document.
Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for patients, adhering to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. The RN demonstrates knowledge of physiological, psychological, and developmental and age‑specific differences in the patient population. The RN collaborates with the interdisciplinary team for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs and supports the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities- Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards and practices.
- Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.
- Prepare and administer therapies under the direction and supervision of a physician.
- Administer all medications/blood products using correct medication/blood product, dosage/amount, route, time and technique.
- Assure pre‑authorization and appropriate consent forms are obtained prior to administration of therapies where applicable.
- Facilitate dose modification by assessing the patient, reviewing labs, consulting protocol or treatment plan, calculating dose, and consulting the physician regarding dosage modifications, problems and symptom management.
- Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports and maintain central line catheter devices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assigned patient care and treatments provided.
- Apply knowledge of reimbursement procedures and charge capture.
- Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 0‑3 years of RN experience.
- Willing to consider an entry, mid, or senior level candidate.
- Current RN state license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Physical RequirementsFull range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extended periods. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lb. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
