SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for leading all activities that support material movement accuracy, inventory integrity, and transaction reliability across production, warehouse, and system environments. This role ensures all material transactions are executed in alignment with company standards, Oracle Fusion processes, and cycle count programs while driving continuous system and process improvement across the operation.

- Responsible for material movement support and inventory accuracy for production inventory locations. This involves closely monitoring and reconciling aging inventory in pass‑through locations to ensure accuracy and compliance with standard procedures.

- Maintains accountability for consumable packaging materials to ensure they are reliably available for production use.
- Lead and manage the site’s Cycle Count Program, including program design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting through Oracle Fusion.
- Delegate count activities to TXP team members, monitor execution, and report on progress, completion rates, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive accountability for count variances, oversee recounts, and perform root cause analysis to ensure corrective action and issue resolution.
- Take ownership for making significant inventory adjustments and developing corrective action plans as needed to maintain system accuracy and integrity.
- Provide leadership during the annual physical inventory, from planning and variance review to root cause resolution and final reconciliation.
- Support month‑end close activities through reconciliation, variance monitoring, and transaction verification.
- Continuously refine inventory control methods, transaction accuracy, and system parameters to strengthen the reliability of the company’s ERP/WMS environment.
- Train and assist production and warehouse staff on material movement transactions to ensure data accuracy and compliance with standard procedures.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of all inventory clerk transactions for troubleshooting and root cause support.
- Develop cross‑training plans for department staff to ensure coverage, workload balance, and process continuity.
- Provide daily supervision, coaching, and performance management for the inventory control team.
Directly supervises employees in the Inventory Control Department. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of experience in inventory control or materials management; supervisory experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
