We are looking for a multi-talented addition to our fast-growing team!
Must enjoy working on airplanes and low-level VFR flying, have at least 400 hours of total flight time, and be immediately available.
We are carving out a special opportunity via a Career Transition Program. In this program, the expectation is to perform maintenance ~50% of the time and fly ~50% of the time. The expected commitment is 18 months; we will help you achieve the ATP total time minimum by the end.
Requirements- A&P license
- Minimum of 400 total flight hours
- Commercial single‑engine land rating
- Instrument rating
- Previous commercial pilot experience (preferred)
- CFI (highly preferred)
Candidate must be comfortable in high winds and on small runways, possess a safety‑oriented attitude, impeccable stick and rudder skills, and a high level of situational awareness. Some traveling will be required.
Eighteen‑month contract required, with completion bonus. We are looking for unwavering commitment and mental readiness for the full 18‑month period. The rest of our team is counting on you.
This is a salaried position with the employer covering 50% of health‑insurance premiums. American Patrols, Inc. offers a challenging and rewarding career path. You will help maintain our growing fleet of Cessna 172s at our home base in Midland, TX, and build flight time while patrolling the oil fields of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico in a Cessna 172. Affordable housing is available via a corporate apartment with one private room.
This is a full‑time, non‑management position.
