Make Tech Shop Helper

Responsible for light vehicle maintenance, vehicle removal from service, and assisting with other tasks when needed.

• Preparing vehicles for auction with removal of equipment and decals, and that all tasks are completed thoroughly, and vehicles are not damaged In the process.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as batteries, wipers, checking fluids, etc.
• Cleaning rental vehicles when needed and fill with fuel
• Clean shop inside and out and throw trash when needed
• Transport vehicles to and from vendors
• Install decals on vehicles
• Driving off site to run errands and pick up parts
• Perform other duties assigned by management
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Adhering to traffic laws and safe driving practices when moving vehicles
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must pass background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of basic car maintenance
• Willingness to learn and ability to take notes regarding vehicle condition Able to obtain vehicle inspection license
• Time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and cars Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Able to stand, walk and bend for extended periods of time
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Work is primarily performed indoors at times outdoors in varied weather condition in heat and cold

• May be exposed to loud noises and fumes from vehicles
• May be required to work over regular time
