Southern Boone High School
Southern Boone High School is seeking a motivated and dedicated Boys Assistant Baseball Coach to join our athletic program for the 2026-27 school year. This position supports the Head Baseball Coach in developing a competitive, positive, and student-centered baseball experience.
Responsibilities- Assisting with planning and conducting practices and games
- Supporting player development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Helping supervise student-athletes during practices, games, and travel
- Promoting academic success and positive behavior among student-athletes
- Assisting with equipment, field preparation, and program needs
- Upholding school, district, and MSHSAA policies and expectations
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals and coaching strategies
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Coaching experience preferred (but not required)
- Must meet all district and MSHSAA coaching requirements
