Job Overview:

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our clients' machinery. Your role will involve diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment used in construction, mining, and other industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

- Repair or replace defective parts on heavy equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.

- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint problems.

- Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspections.

- Adhere to safety regulations and company standards.

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless operations.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in heavy equipment repair is preferred.

- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or in a similar role.

- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between locations if required.
