Motor Vehicle Mechanic​/Technician

About the Role

Hugo Loonam Motors is expanding its workshop team and is looking for a Qualified Technician or 3rd/4th Year Apprentice to work across Peugeot, Isuzu, Suzuki and a wide range of used vehicles. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern workshop with ongoing training and strong career prospects.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Diagnostics and fault-finding using modern workshop equipment
• Warranty work and service campaigns
• Pre-NCT checks and preparation
• Ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards
• Working with the wider workshop team to maintain efficient workflow
• Keeping accurate job records and documentation

• Fully qualified technician or 3rd/4th year apprentice
• Full clean driving licence
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• EV/Hybrid training is an advantage (not essential)
• High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
