Who We Are: Texas Pride Fuels is an experienced full-service diesel and lubricant supplier to the oil and gas industry. We specialize in on-site automated frac fueling service all over Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico.

What You'll Do: Maintain service operations by inspecting and maintaining vehicles and heavy trucks.

What We're Looking For: Experienced mechanic with a strong background in diesel maintenance. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel trucks and trailers: change oil, oil filter, fuel filter, transmission flush, AC, air brakes, lights, horn, lift and install heavy components, and inspect vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
  • Utilize diagnostic software to identify issues.
  • Experience with fuel pump equipment and hoses.
  • Familiar with DOT and other rules and regulations related to vehicle maintenance and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to OSHA standards.
  • Communicate with drivers and management regarding vehicle maintenance and service.
  • Record all maintenance activities on company documentation.
  • Monitor Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) for various commercial vehicles.
  • Perform purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders.

When and Where You'll Work:

  • Midland and Orla operational yards.
  • 15 Days On/6 Days Off Rotational Shift.
  • 12-hour scheduled shifts during hitch.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Satisfactorily pass a drug, alcohol, and background check.
  • Pass a DOT physical or "Fit for Duty" physical exam.
  • Insurable to drive company vehicles.
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions.
  • Work safely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Handle the physical requirements of the work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
  • Use hand and power tools safely.
  • Work in various positions and environments.
  • Visually inspect parts and detect leaks.
  • Work in varying weather conditions, fumes, noise, and dust.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
