Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T0770) rting hourly rate: $16.50 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Promote benefits, offerings, and services; assist with Target Loyalty program sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards; minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App and services like Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; assist with enrollment where applicable.
• Handle returns following policies; escalate to leaders when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; stock supplies during store hours as needed.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards; maintain ethical conduct and compliance.
• Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive-Up; comply with applicable laws including alcohol regulations where relevant.
• Other duties based on business needs.

• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.
• Accurately handle checkout operations and transactions; support cash office operations as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally; be mobile for scheduled shifts.
• Flexible schedule with reliability and attendance; adapt to varying temperatures and store conditions (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
