Description:
Registered Nurse will rotate through triage, antepartum, labor, circulating, and transition.
No postpartum care required.
Facility births range from 200 to 300 per month.
Experience with high-risk antepartum situations is essential.
Telemetry interpretation skills are necessary.
Ability to manage insulin drips is required.
Experience with forceps and vacuum extraction is essential.
Knowledge in managing hemorrhage and shock situations is required.
Skilled in antepartum, labor, delivery, and recovery room care.
Ability to assist with sterile speculum exams.
Experience in performing non-stress tests is necessary.
Must be able to conduct reflex checks, edema assessments, and clonus evaluations.
Capable of performing sterile vaginal exams and triaging obstetrical patients.
Proficient in using external and internal fetal monitoring.
Experience with intrauterine pressure catheter placement and calibration is essential.
Able to recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
Must be skilled in administering blood and blood products.
Experience in drawing venous blood and starting IVs is necessary.
Skilled in using infusion pumps and IV monitoring.
Ability to administer antihypertensives and magnesium sulfate therapy is required.
Experience with Pitocin (oxytocin) and terbutaline is preferred.
Able to assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries.
Must possess skills to circulate for C-sections and recover post-C-section patients.
Knowledge in APGAR scoring and infant care is essential.
Experience with infant identification and security banding is required.
Proficient in providing lactation support and managing pain assessments.
Skilled in Foley catheter insertion and management.
Expertise in fundus, lochia, and perineum care required.
Experience with multiple births and managing postpartum hemorrhage necessary.
Knowledge in isolation precautions and PPE is essential.
Skilled in vaccine administration is preferred.
