Job Purpose
The Education Coordinator is responsible for planning and delivering age-appropriate prevention and awareness education in schools and community settings served by MRCCAC. This includes sexual abuse prevention, mandatory reporting, child abuse awareness, and information on the Rape Crisis Program. The role also involves outreach to community groups, agencies, and professionals.

- Deliver educational presentations to children, professionals, and community groups.
- Assist with developing and maintaining age-appropriate curricula and educational materials.
- Represent MRCCAC at community events and awareness campaigns (can include some evenings and weekends).
- Coordinate efforts to engage the community with the Executive Director.
- Ensure required outreach education outcome measures are measured and collected.
- Submit accurate and timely performance reports capturing education activities.
- Plan, organize, and deliver awareness training for professionals and volunteers. Submit accurate and timely reports capturing community outreach activities.
- Participate in the staff on-call rotation for after-hours crisis intervention hospital and medical accompaniment services and crisis hotline.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
The MRCCAC provides support, hope, and healing for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse in the Permian Basin and surrounding counties. Our goal is to eradicate all forms of abuse through education and empowerment, but until that day we will provide every service possible for survivors to help them move forward.
