• Assemble, fabricate, and fit structural metal components for steel utility poles.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit metal components using a variety of tools and machinery.
• Weld or bolt materials together to build frameworks and supports per specifications.
• Align and fit parts precisely using appropriate measuring and leveling tools.
• Inspect completed assemblies for conformance to design and AWS D1.1 quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of basic shop math and ability to operate standard tools and machinery.
• Must pass a weld test.
• Team-oriented, dependable, and highly motivated.

• Ability to stand/walk up to 90% of the workday.
• Occasional bending, squatting, climbing ladders/stairs, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to accurately assess weights, distances, and heights.
