The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a full‑time second shift Custodian, building assignment to be determined. Hours of work are approximately 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m. This position is responsible for light property maintenance and grounds care, cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, lavatories, and the cafeteria; emptying trash and recycling containers; replacing supplies; using appropriate equipment and chemicals as needed; and other tasks as assigned by the custodial supervisor.

Starting rate of pay is $17.47/hour–$31.49/hour depending on years of custodial experience, and this is a benefit‑eligible position. Benefits include a low deductible PPO medical insurance (2025‑26 employee contributions are $64.25/month for single, $136.84/month for 2‑person, and $186.31/month for family), prescription (no cost), dental (no cost), life insurance (no cost), vision insurance (no cost), PSERS retirement, 12 sick days, 15 vacation days, and 2 personal days (paid time off is prorated during the first year of employment based on start date).
