** Job Summary
** Conoco Phillips holds approximately 372,000 total net acres in the Midland Basin, which includes approximately 265,000 unconventional net acres located in the heart of west Texas. The company operates over 2,800 producing wells across Midland, Upton, Andrews, Martin, and Glasscock counties.
In 2024, the company operated five rigs and two frac crews on average during 2024, resulting in 119 operated wells drilled and 111 operated wells brought online. Net production in 2024 averaged 182 MBOED.
** Position Overview
** At Conoco Phillips, our Lease Operators—known internally as Multi-Skill Operators (MSOs)—play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable oil and gas production across our assets. This field-based position offers the opportunity to work independently in dynamic outdoor environments, using your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to make a real impact.

** Your responsibilities may include:
*** Perform daily field operations across assigned wells and facilities in our
** Midland Basin North
** area, monitoring equipment and production performance to ensure safe, reliable flow and timely response to operational needs
* Inspect tanks, meters, separators, compressors, and pipelines to identify and prevent leaks or operational issues
* Gauge tanks to measure crude oil and water levels for safe and efficient transfers
* Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift wells, sand traps, and flowback equipment
* Maintain chemical injection rates and execute well start-up/shut-in procedures
* Enter and validate production data in digital systems to support accurate reporting and decision-making
* Participate in facility walk-throughs, safety reviews, and regulatory documentation
* Update piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and site security documentation
* Respond to alarms and fulfill on-call duties to minimize downtime and resolve field issues
* Apply all safety, environmental, and company policies to protect personnel, assets, and the environment
