The Water Resources Assistant Foreman candidate will play a crucial role in managing water operations for completion, drilling, production, and environmental compliance. The role involves supporting the Foreman in ensuring that water handling processes align with operational needs and environmental regulations. This includes overseeing water sourcing, recycling, and disposal activities, and working closely with the operations team to maintain efficiency and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing the water supply chain for completion, drilling and production operations, including sourcing, treatment, and distribution of water.
  • Oversee and support water recycling and disposal processes, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and company policies.
  • Conduct inspections and routine checks on water infrastructure used in oil and gas operations, such as water transfer systems, storage ponds, and treatment facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Foreman to guide and train crew members on best practices for water resource management in the field.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements relevant to the oil and gas industry.
Qualifications & Experience

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Experience:

    A minimum of 3-5 years in water resource management within the oil and gas or broader energy sector. Prior experience with produced water management and recycling processes is highly desirable.
  • Regulatory Knowledge:
    Familiarity with local and federal environmental regulations, including relevant guidelines from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and state-specific agencies like the Texas Railroad Commission.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with water management software and tools used in the oil and gas industry. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, water treatment methods, and pipeline infrastructure.
  • Leadership and Communication:
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide junior team members. Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Safety Focus: A strong commitment to safety and familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices in the oil and gas sector.
