Quality Lead

Brunel is recruiting a Quality Lead to work with our major oil and gas client in Midland, TX for initially 1 year contract.

The selected candidate will be responsible for field-based quality oversight with primary ownership of preservation activities. This role supports unconventional energy projects and ensures preservation standards are maintained throughout project execution.

• Quality leadership with a strong focus on preservation activities
• Unconventional energy project experience preferred
• Field-based quality oversight and preservation ownership
• Preservation of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Compressor preservation experience is critical
• P pipeline construction or operations exposure is essential

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to ensure project quality systems are effectively implemented and maintained across engineering, procurement, and site execution phases.
• Driving the implementation of engineering, procurement, and site quality systems
• Providing quality assurance and quality control expertise to ensure services, equipment, and materials meet contract, purchase order, specification, and statutory requirements
• Evaluating and monitoring contractor quality management systems and driving improvements to close performance gaps
• Overseeing the development and execution of project-specific Surveillance Plans and Procedures
• Monitoring quality metrics to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues
• Providing direction and oversight to discipline inspectors and supporting the project team on quality-related matters
• Promoting quality awareness throughout all phases of the project
