The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.

This position includes a $10,000 Sign-on Bonus, as well as other “location” incentives.

• This Plant Trainee Operator role is an entry point to obtain the training and experience necessary to become a qualified Plant Operator. It will provide a readily available and qualified individual to accommodate future manpower needs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work side by side to learn the operation and surveillance of a gas process facility including the monitoring and operation of all plant equipment and systems (amine gas/liquid CO2 treating, mole sieve gas/liquid dehydration, cryogenic gas processing unit, residue gas compression, gas/liquid measurement and all utility support systems).
• Work within the guidelines and parameters as established by Company Safety Manual, operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in various training courses.
• Receive on-the-job training, including safety procedures, regulatory requirements, handling of hazardous and highly volatile materials, equipment repair/maintenance, liquid and natural gas measurement, and other systems related to the NGL/natural gas pipeline industry.
• Troubleshoot all plant equipment failures and act accordingly.
• Develop and complete reports related to the operation of a gas process facility.

• A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Technical certification or equivalent training in a mechanical environment or energy related field is preferred.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
• May be required to participate in the Respiratory Protection Program and wear respirator to perform tasks.
• Knowledge of the operation, control and general design of various kinds of systems typically present in a processing or fractionation plant is required.
• The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (percentages, ratios, proportions) to practical solutions is required.
• Basic computer skills such as opening, creating and updating content in MS Word and Excel are required.
• Ability to assume responsibility, be flexible, perform duties and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions.
• Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, teams, customers, and stakeholders at various levels in a professional manner is required.
• Ability to modify communication style to influence, persuade, negotiate, and engage all parties according to the audience and circumstance is required.
