Job Description

Summary: The Lab Technician will perform routine laboratory analysis within their training scope, assist with special projects, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour on-call service during duty week.
• Drive a half-ton truck to job sites and district fields.
• Maintain a Class “C” driver’s license.
• Load and unload cylinders and lab equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Complete job sheets, vehicle inspections, and safety forms.
• Explain procedures to customers and conduct lab analysis during an 8-hour shift.
• Maintain lab instruments, process reports, and work in various weather conditions, including toxic environments with hydrogen sulfide gas using full-face respirators.
• Climb stairs on oil storage tanks and work in district labs.
• Overnight lodging may be required.
• Attend safety training and adhere to company policies and safety regulations.
• Assist in emergency situations by removing employees from harm and being mobile for evacuation.

The role is full-time, with benefits including dental, health, vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and parental leave. The schedule includes day and night shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.
