- High School Diploma or GED and/or 30 semester hours of an accredited college or university
- Educational Aide Certificate from state of Texas
- Some experience working with children
Assist the teacher in the preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements. Work under the supervision of a certified teacher.
Essential Functions- hold a high school diploma, the equivalent of a high school diploma, or higher;
- have satisfied one of the following requirements:
- has three creditable years of experience, as defined in Chapter 153, Subchapter CC, of this title (relating to Commissioner's Rules on Creditable Years of Service), as either an educational aide I or II;
- has completed 30 semester credit hours of college credit with some emphasis on child growth and development or related subject areas;
