Tutors help with any stage of the writing process on writing assignments for any college course. Examples of content tutors assist with include brainstorming, organization, vocabulary, audience awareness/tone, formatting, paragraph development, MLA / APA formatting, logistics of researching, and editing. This list is not exhaustive.

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 12 hours of college credit completed with a 3.0 or higher overall G.P.A
• Must have completed English 1301 or English 1302 with an “A"
• Knowledge of computers/Canvas
• Understanding of Word formatting and MLA format
• Ability to interact with students on an individual basis or in a group
• Ability to speak and write clearly in English
