Business Development Manager - Control Systems Engineering / Oil & Gas

We are seeking a Business Development Leader in the Permian Basin to expand and support growth across the following service areas:
- Process Control Systems
- SCADA and Industrial Data Systems
- Software and Application Solutions
- Cloud-based Data Platforms
- Automation Services
- Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E)
- Measurement and Metering Services
Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities across the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualification, and solution presentation.
Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline to support consistent revenue growth.
Create and execute strategic business plans aligned with sales targets, revenue objectives, and profitability goals.
Participate in regular sales reviews and communicate progress to leadership.
Partner with engineering, operations, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are effectively scoped and successfully executed.
Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients, maintaining accountability for long-term partnership health and performance.
Required QualificationsMinimum of five (5) years of experience supporting upstream, midstream, downstream, pipeline, or petrochemical operations.
Demonstrated experience preparing proposals, estimates, and commercial documentation, including defining scope and level of effort.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Solid understanding of standard contract terms such as indemnity, warranty, and liability.
Track record of successfully supporting and closing technically complex projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Self-driven mindset with an interest in contributing to organizational growth.
Preferred Qualifications- Established working relationships with regional or national energy operators.
