Overview
Prismecs is seeking an experienced O&M Logistics Coordinator to support daily plant operations by managing all materials, tools, consumables, procurement activities, and transportation requirements. The Logistics Coordinator ensures accurate inventory control, organized warehouse operations, and compliance with company procedures and HSE standards. The role reports directly to the Project Manager and works closely with Operations, Maintenance, and HSE teams to maintain safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant performance.
Responsibilities- Participate proactively in the Prismecs health, safety, and environment program.
- Comply with all HSE, environmental, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate CMMS records for parts, tools, and consumables.
- Oversee warehouse housekeeping, organization, and material storage practices.
- Track inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers and service providers.
- Support procurement functions, including pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines.
- Plan and coordinate domestic and international transportation of materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with hazardous materials handling and transport regulations.
- Monitor supplier performance and support corrective action when needed.
- Assist with cost-control measures and identify opportunities for savings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain processes.
- Participate in contingency planning for supply chain risks or disruptions.
- Perform additional assignments from the Project Manager, CRO, HSE Coordinator, or Team Leader.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or spare parts management.
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, or inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast‑paced operational environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
