Your ResponsibilitiesAs a vital member of our team, you will:
- Utilize your expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
- Gain hands-on experience with a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding guest needs.
- Work alongside fellow technicians to solve challenges and achieve outstanding results.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to serve guests and collaborate with your team.
- At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- Diesel Technician/Mechanic experience is required.
- Knowledge of diesel fuel systems.
- ASE Certifications are preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- The ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- A commitment to meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
This role involves:
- Occasionally lifting and/or moving over 100 pounds.
- Working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Navigating tight spaces as needed for repairs.
- Using hand tools with dexterity.
- Walking or standing for most of the workday.
- Driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Efficiently navigating a computer.
