Mailroom Attendant

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Mailroom Attendant to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Midland, TX.

Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and organized Mailroom Attendant to support the daily operation of our mailroom. The ideal candidate will be punctual, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth handling of incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining clear communication via email and Microsoft Teams, and supporting the mailrooms operational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Mail Handling: Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages accurately and efficiently.
• Communication: Respond to email and Microsoft Teams communications promptly and professionally, addressing inquiries and coordinating with team members.
• Organization: Maintain a tidy and organized mailroom, ensuring mail and packages are properly tracked and stored.
• Account Setup:
  Assist in setting up and managing accounts for mail-related services, such as postage meters and courier services.
• Task Prioritization: Prioritize daily tasks to ensure timely processing of critical mail and packages.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of mailroom activities, including tracking deliveries and updating logs.
• Support: Collaborate with the mailroom team and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in a mailroom, office support, or similar role preferred but not required.
