Our client is a successful Commercial Real Estate and Construction company based in Midland. They are looking for an Accountant with strong cost accounting skills to manage daily operations and analyze project budgets. Their ideal candidate has Quickbooks, Complete Contract Method and industry knowledge.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review financial statements, maintain general ledgers, and reconcile accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, billing processes, and payroll administration.
- Collaborate with project managers and development teams to track job costs and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in budgeting, auditing, and cash management functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Quick Books and Microsoft Office Suite.
