Position ProfileWeaver seeks a Tax Supervisor with Energy experience to join our growing team. The role involves providing federal tax compliance and planning services to our Energy clients.
A successful Weaver Tax Supervisor is a team player who shows initiative, takes responsibility, communicates well, and manages multiple projects of varying complexity. This role also offers mentorship opportunities for less experienced team members.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or CPA candidate with 4+ years of experience in public accounting, industry, or both
- Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Energy clients
- Experience preparing federal tax returns
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand existing client relationships
