Position: Temp - Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) (Nights) Midland MI
This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions, intuitively, using the nursing process while applying a broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner.
Responsibilities

(25%)*Assesses patient for physical, emotional, psych/social and family support.

(25%)*Organizes and coordinates all aspects of patient care according to the patient's real and/or perceived needs.

(25%)* Evaluates patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge to determine if goals are being met according to the patient's plan of care or clinical path.

(25%)* Consults and collaborates with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing total patient care for individuals.

Requirement description :

• 2+ years of SICU Experience - Required
• Open Heart Trained
  - Required
• BLS (AHA) & ACLS (AHA) - Required
• Travel Experience - Highly Preferred
• Epic Experience - Preferred
• ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION (Facility will NOT approve scheduling requests at/after time of offer / Please obtain this information prior to submittal / Requests after offer can be cause for rescinded offer)

Profile Requirements:

• Work History
• Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Must be active!
Weekend Requirements :
Three weekend shifts per 4 week scheduling period. (Fri and Sat)
On Call Requirements :
No Call
