Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with an active MI license and BLS certification for a day shift position.

Job Details

• Work in the hospital Operating Room (OR) setting,

• Schedule consists of day shifts, either 8 or 10 hours per shift,

• No weekend or on-call requirements,

• Care for surgical patients before and during procedures,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license (MI) in good standing,

• Current American Heart Association BLS certification,

• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required,

• Recent travel RN experience highly preferred,

• Epic EMR experience highly preferred,

• Two completed supervisory reference forms from the last two years,

• Skills checklist for Operating Room completed within the past year,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and maintaining safety during surgical procedures,

• Supervise and coordinate operating room activities and anticipate schedule changes,

• Assist anesthesia and monitor the sterile field,

• Communicate with patients, families, and the OR team,

• Participate in staff development and educational opportunities,

• Local candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility,

• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accommodated,
