Registered Nurse; RN - Medical Surgical ICU; MSICU; Nights

This position encompasses a range of integrated pre-operative and post-operative critical care functions, executed intuitively through the application of the nursing process, while leveraging a comprehensive nursing knowledge base in a compassionate and attentive manner.

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the patient, evaluating physical, emotional, psychological, social, and familial support systems. (25%)
• Organize and coordinate all dimensions of patient care in accordance with the patient’s actual and/or perceived needs. (25%)
• Assess patient progress by integrating patient information with nursing expertise to ascertain whether established goals are being achieved in alignment with the patient care plan or clinical pathway. (25%)
• Consult and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to plan and execute comprehensive patient care. (25%)

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is required.
• Certification in Open Heart training is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, as endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA), are required.
• Experience in travel nursing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records is preferred.
