We have an exciting position open in Midland, MI:
Production Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of materials and related production needs in order to facilitate production deadlines while adhering to related ISO requirements (both 9001:2008 standard and 13485 medical device standards)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Mixing materials and perform color changes.
- Assist Process Technicians with setup of production equipment.
- Assist Machine Operators with equipment and material needs.
- Responsible for process documentation per ISO 9001 procedures.
- Routine maintenance as directed by supervisor or designee.
- Maintain consistently clean and safe working environment within production area.
- Other Material Handler duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Education
- High School diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical understanding regarding machinery and related manufacturing equipment.
- Skills
- Ability to work in a deadline and fast pace environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Willing to work on all shifts and overtime as required.
- Must possess the ability to frequently lift 50 to 100 pounds, occasionally lift over 100 pounds with frequent bending and twisting.
- Candidate must also possess an excellent work ethic and demonstrated teamwork attitude.
