We have an exciting opportunity for an Automation and Process Control Engineer at our Midland, Michigan Site. спустя. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and delivering Alarm Management, PSM, Grow & Improve projects using Automation and Process Control systems in alignment with tactical and strategic Business Technology objectives.

• Applies knowledge of the Automation technology to define and implement solutions for PSM, Grow and Improve projects.
• Leads or participates in front-end loading of capital projects.
• Provides input into Business Technology Implementation Plan (BTIP).
• Provides input into Multi-Generational Technology Plan (MGTP).
• Participates in PHAs.
• First contact in MT for advanced process control troubleshooting for Operations.
• Responsible for providing technical automation training and coaching to Operations Engineers and Technical staff.
• Provide required automation support for PHAs.
• Validates technical solutions and documents results to drive toward a standardized Automation Technology.
• Provides technical input for Management of Change.
• Lead or participate in Project Reviews.
• Collaborates across MT, Operations, EHS, R&D, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related degree with process control experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of chemical process manufacturing, or related experience preferred. Strong track record implementing, improving, and supporting Process Control systems, preferably including experience with DCS (preferred experience in ABB 800xA).
• Experience with high hazard processes and process safety management preferred.
• Experience with SIS lifecycle & Functional Safety Assessments is preferred.
• Good track record in troubleshooting and problem solving.
