This is a part‑time on‑site role for a Nursing Instructor based at Dorsey College's Saginaw Campus in Midland, MI. The Nursing Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging lectures and practical training sessions, guiding and mentoring students in their academic and professional development. The role also includes developing and updating curriculum, evaluating student performance, facilitating laboratory and clinical training, and ensuring compliance with program standards and regulatory requirements.
Instructors will contribute to maintaining a supportive learning environment for students pursuing nursing education.
- Expertise in Nursing and experience in Nursing Education
- Experience in Curriculum Development for relevant nursing courses
- Knowledge of Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Current and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s in Nursing is preferred
- Strong teaching, mentorship, and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competency
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance is a plus
