We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Middlewich area. If you are passionate about helping students stay on track with their learning, have excellent classroom management skills, and are looking to contribute to a supportive and engaging educational environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

• Supervise and manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged
• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across various subjects and age groups
• Maintain a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment
• Promote high standards of behaviour and discipline
• Provide support and assistance to students during lessons, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed
• Report on student progress and behaviour to relevant staff members
• Ensure that the school's policies and procedures are followed, particularly in relation to safeguarding and health and safety

• Experience working with secondary school-aged students (preferred but not essential)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent classroom management abilities
• A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
• A genuine interest in supporting students and contributing to their learning
• DBS checked or willing to undergo a DBS check
• No specific teaching qualification required, but a background in education or working with young people is beneficial
