Our client is a roadway system and as a part of their digital transformation they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.

Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking a IT Asset Management (ITAM) Contractor to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The selected Candidates will perform the following duties:

• Complete research of procurement documents and SAP system for purchase history
  • PO and shopping cart numbers
  • Contract start end date
  • Vendor
• Identify software entitlements that need to be created. Ensure to capture
  • Quantity of licenses
  • License type
  • License Metric
  • Costs
  • Coverage start and end dates
• Identify product owner(s)
• Review EULA for key data points that include, but are not limited to, cancelation time frames and clarity of license metric.
• Prepare Service Now lower environment with software entitlements and related contract for review
• Schedule meeting with product owner(s) to review information captured
• Update Service Now production environment with approved/reviewed software entitlements and associated contract

Required

Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes
• Working knowledge of Service Now SAMPro, including software models, entitlements, contracts, and related records
• Experience researching and validating procurement data from ERP systems (e.g., SAP), including purchase orders, shopping carts, and vendor information
• Strong understanding of software licensing fundamentals, including license types, metrics, quantities, and coverage periods
• Ability to review and interpret EULAs and software contracts to extract key licensing and contractual data points
• Strong analytical, documentation, and data validation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product owners, procurement, legal, and IT teams
• Experience preparing data for review and approval prior to production deployment

Preferred

Skills & Experience:

• Advanced or hands-on configuration experience within Service Now SAMPro (e.g., software models, normalization, reconciliation concepts)
• Experience supporting large-scale or wave-based software onboarding initiatives
• Familiarity with software compliance, audit readiness, and license optimization practices
• Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes or tools
• Knowledge of enterprise software vendors and common licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP)
• Experience working in regulated or complex enterprise environments

Desired

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience supporting Software Asset Management (SAM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) functions
• Demonstrated experience in software onboarding, entitlement management, and contract analysis.
