PMO Project Management Resource

Contract Duration: 01/19/2026 - 06/30/2026
Work Location: Dauphin County, PA
Work Arrangement: Primarily remote; will require reporting to the Commission's headquarters for meetings as required. No additional compensation for any travel required if the resource is within a 3-hour commuting distance (rate is inclusive of travel costs).
Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Job Description
This role manages and coordinates the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity. The resource develops and maintains project plans and required artifacts using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies, and adheres to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the activities of internal and/or external staff involved in multiple IT projects of varying complexity
• Develop and maintain project plans and other artifacts as required using PTC or other established project management standards, procedures, templates, and methodologies
• Coordinate with business owners and other analysts to define and refine project scope
• Perform project management duties through the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing
• Conduct lessons learned sessions during and after projects to identify recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients
• Adhere to the PTC PMO Playbook and referenced artifacts

Required Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of expertise in project/project management of projects of various size and subject matter
• 5 years of experience including, but not limited to: integration, scope, schedule, cost, communication, vendor, and risk planning and management

Desired Skills and Expertise

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Service Now experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules
• Enterprise Business Solutions experience, specifically SAP projects
• ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies

Engagement Requirements

• Candidate's location is preferred to be within the Continental United States
• Successfully complete ePATCH background check and Clear Checks National Criminal Background Check prior to engagement start
• Overtime requests must have prior approval of the Project Principal with the rightful reasons for overtime
• This position is primarily remote; however, this position will require reporting to the Commission's headquarters for meetings as required
• Travel expenses submitted for reimbursement must adhere to federal GSA guidelines governing hotel, mileage, and meals per diem rates, and must include appropriate expense documentation (receipts)
• No additional compensation for any travel required if the resource is based within a 3-hour commuting distance; the rate is inclusive of any travel costs
