As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers to Lowe’s and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met.

While most of your time will be spent listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, your daily responsibilities may vary by department.

Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments, based on hiring needs and skillsets:
Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.

• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down‑stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross‑functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.

• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, orкового information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic.
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without an accommodation.

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.

• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; however, it may require occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location. Workers may be exposed to inside and outside weather conditions, varying climates, extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, and potential noise. Lifting methods vary; lifts are limited to 75 lbs for single lifts and may require team lifts for heavier loads. Powered equipment should be used with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
