Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conscientiously work toward running a safer and cleaner operation.
• Ensure that all guards are always in place.
• Inform the supervisors of any maintenance problems or suggested changes to equipment.
• Is responsible for machine set-up and run per job specifications.
• Have available at the machine all the tools necessary to do the job.
• Assumes responsibility for the quality of the product run on multiple automatic machines.
• Salvage the damaged tubes whenever possible.
• Make every reasonable effort to meet or exceed the production standard for each job or multiple automatic machines
• Notify the supervisor of any maintenance or production problems as soon as possible.
• Fill out the tags accurately and see that they are attached to the bundle before it goes to the next operation.
• Assumes various other duties at the direction of the shift supervisor.
