Overview
The Medical Social Worker is responsible for providing social work services to patients in their homes per physician's plan of care.
LocationsMontgomery, Butler, Warren and Clinton County
Responsibilities- Provide social work services to patients in their homes per physician's plan of care.
Minimum level of education required:
Master's degree
- Type of degree:
Masters (Master’s degree is preferred) - Area of study or major:
Social Work (MSW) - Preferred licensure: L.I.S.W OR I.S.W
- Position specific testing requirement: N/A
- Current Ohio License in Social Work
- CPR Certification
- Minimum level of experience required: 1-3 years of job related experience
- 3-5 years of job related experience
- Prior job title or occupational experience:
One year experience in a health care setting (hospital, clinic rehabilitation center, home care, etc.) - 3-5 years of experience providing clinical services; experience in home care or community/outpatient setting preferred.
- Computer skills preferred
- Must be capable of standing, stooping, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
