Position TitleCT Tech – Unit: CT Scan
Position SummaryIndependently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs.
May have on-call responsibilities.

- CPR Certification required
- ARRT RT (R) registry required
- CT registry preferred
- ODH licensure required
Experience
- Minimum:
No prior job-related work experience - Preferred:
One year experience or additional training in specialized field of CT
Knowledge / Skills
- Cross-sectional anatomy
- Proficient in EMR
- Proficient in RIS and Image Storage
- Advanced CT computer applications
- Radiation safety
