• Completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program or technical college course
• Registration or certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current RCP license in the state of practice
• Experience in respiratory care jobs, emergency care, or intensive care preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Strong knowledge of pulmonary function, pulmonary rehabilitation, and respiratory equipment

• Monitor patient physiological responses, including arterial blood gases, lung function changes, and vital signs
• Assist physicians in managing patient care and performing medical procedures
• Set up and operate respiratory therapy devices such as ventilators, therapeutic gas administration apparatus, and aerosol generators
• Provide emergency care, including CPR and artificial respiration, when required
• Maintain and clean respiratory therapy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans and treatment procedures
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Travel to patient locations as needed for respiratory therapist employment opportunities

Pay: $32 per hour (respiratory therapist pay)
