Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The Lead Toddler Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, loving, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of toddlers. This role includes implementing TLE’s proprietary curriculum, mentoring assistant teachers, and building strong relationships with families.
Qualifications- Required:
- Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- CDA Credential for Infant/Toddlers
- Previous experience working with toddlers - at least 2 years
- Strong understanding of toddler development and age-appropriate practices
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements and center policies
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Lead and manage a toddler classroom in accordance with TLE standards, state regulations, and best practices
- Implement The Learning Experience curriculum and daily lesson plans
- Create a warm, structured, and engaging classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s developmental progress
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom at all times
- Supervise and support assistant teachers and classroom aides
- Build positive, professional relationships with families through daily communication
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
- A nurturing educator who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills
