** Maintenance Technician
** to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and aligned with state and federal health and safety standards.
** What You’ll Do
** As a Maintenance Technician, you will:
* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across assigned centers to ensure safe, operational facilities.
* Respond to work orders promptly, resolving issues efficiently to minimize disruption to learning.
* Assist with setup, cleaning, and preparation of classrooms and shared spaces as needed.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, licensing standards, and Head Start Performance Standards.
** Who You Are
** We’re looking for someone who is:
* Experienced in general building maintenance and repair.
* Reliable, detail-oriented, and responsive to facility needs.
* Knowledgeable of safety, health, and building codes.
* Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
* Flexible and collaborative, with a commitment to supporting children and families.
** Minimum Qualifications
*** High school diploma, GED, or HSED required;
Associate’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities, or related field preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical tasks safely.
* Pass a physical exam and background check.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
