Facilities Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

The QTI Group has partnered with a local organization to find a full-time Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in the Madison area. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and making a visible impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and welcoming residential environments.

Compensation:$25+/hour, based on experience

Additional compensation when on-call

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM

Rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies

Occasional weekend availability required

Responsibilities:

Check in daily with the Property Manager

Respond to service requests and perform repairs professionally

Maintain clean and well-kept grounds (interior and exterior)

Purchase and stock necessary parts and supplies

Perform routine preventative maintenance

Prep apartments for new residents

Collaborate with contractors and vendors

Qualifications:

Prior experience maintaining multi-family residences

Established longevity in past positions

Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors/outdoors

Must pass a background check and drug test

Good communication skills and a positive attitude
