UI​/UX Designer Intern

ETC is hiring a UI/UX Designer Intern for the summer of 2026!

What you'll be doing:

• Performs assigned project tasks under direct supervision of more senior-level UI/UX Designers

• Participates in the development effort under the direction of management and more senior team members

• Assists in generating a broad variety of design concepts to satisfy the user needs and requirements of the product specification, including:

• Design & Prototyping:
Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for web, mobile, desktop and embedded platforms.

• User Research:
Assist in collecting user data, analyzing behavior, and conducting usability tests.

•

Collaboration:

Participate in brainstorming sessions with designers, product managers, and developers.

• Iteration:
Refine designs based on feedback and contribute to improving UI consistency.

• Documentation:
Maintain documentation of design decisions and assist in maintaining design systems.

• Assists more senior UI/UX Designers in presentation material for the project and/or product

• Other tasks as assigned

Mininum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in UI/UX Design, UX Research, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.

• Generally entering Junior or Senior year, or have taken courses relevant to the position

• GPA: 3.0 or higher for those who are enrolled in a bachelor's degree

• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing research, design projects, wireframes, or prototypes.
