Robert Half is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Assistant to join a growing team in Middleton, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play an essential part in maintaining efficient billing operations, ensuring accurate invoice processing, and reconciling accounts. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle billing tasks with precision and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

- Process vendor invoices with accuracy and attention to detail to ensure proper documentation.

- Prepare and review client billing statements to guarantee timely and correct issuance.

- Communicate effectively with foreign vendors regarding invoice inquiries and payments.

- Apply currency exchange rates appropriately for international transactions.

- Generate, edit, and finalize client invoices to meet organizational standards.

- Assist in collection activities by following up on outstanding payments and coordinating with relevant parties.

- Create and maintain accurate billing reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.

- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.

- Support the implementation and maintenance of computerized billing systems.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing or related financial roles.

- Proficiency in handling billing functions, including invoice preparation and account reconciliation.

- Familiarity with billing systems and computerized tools for efficient processing.

- Experience in managing billing collections and following up on outstanding payments.

- Strong understanding of currency exchange rates and their application.

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Excellent communication skills for vendor and client interactions.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
