The LPN delivers quality care within the scope outlined by the local state nurse practice act. Responsible for delegated tasks, monitoring patients as directed by medical staff, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

• Graduate from an LPN program
• Active Practical Nurse license in the state of employment
• CPR certification
• Knowledge of state laws and regulations
• Completion of initial and annual clinical competencies

• Meet individual patient health needs systematically
• Implement nursing care within scope of practice
• Assist in developing and implementing teaching plans
• Care for wounds with proper cleaning and dressing
• Administer medications
• Monitor vital signs and report changes
• Document actions accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned
