Aspire People is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M9 area of Manchester, who are looking to welcome a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1.
This school has a strong community feel and a supportive staff team, with a clear focus on early learning, communication skills, and nurturing confident learners. The successful candidate will become a valued part of the classroom, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.
The Role- Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
- Working with small groups to reinforce phonics, reading, and early numeracy
- Providing additional support to pupils who require extra guidance
- Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Assisting with classroom preparation, displays, and resources - Supporting pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activities
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Has recent experience working in a UK primary school
- Confident supporting KS1 pupils
- Patient, encouraging, and approachable
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
