Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS1 Support (Temporary)
Aspire People is working closely with a friendly and inclusive primary school in the M9 area of Manchester, who are looking to welcome a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1.

This school has a strong community feel and a supportive staff team, with a clear focus on early learning, communication skills, and nurturing confident learners. The successful candidate will become a valued part of the classroom, supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

* Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

* Working with small groups to reinforce phonics, reading, and early numeracy

* Providing additional support to pupils who require extra guidance

* Helping to create a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment

* Assisting with classroom preparation, displays, and resources

* Supporting pupils during transitions, break times, and structured activities

The Ideal Candidate :

* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

* Has recent experience working in a UK primary school

* Confident supporting KS1 pupils

* Patient, encouraging, and approachable

* Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
