We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead and deliver complex, high-value projects within the aerospace sector. This role offers significant accountability and involvement across the entire project lifecycle—from conception through to delivery and support.

• Deliver large-scale projects with accountability for outcomes.
• Work with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate meetings and reviews at on-site and off-site locations.
• Maintain strong customer interface throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in contract negotiations and proposal development.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Liaise with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Identify risks, delays, and cost overruns; implement mitigation strategies.
• Support engineering planning based on client requirements and resource availability.
• Oversee design, testing, and support activities.
• Guide and support junior team members.
• Travel within the UK and internationally as required (ad hoc).

You will have the ability to negotiate and influence effectively, with strong organisational and communication skills, along with:

• A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Chemical).
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant industry (Aerospace, Automotive, Engineering or Manufacturing).
• A proven track record in project management.
• Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
