What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of family needs, focusing on kinship care arrangements, to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to kinship carers, helping them navigate systems and access resources.
  • Work closely with other social services professionals, such as child protection officers and educational psychologists, to create care plans.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently, maintaining high standards of documentation and reporting.
  • Advocate for the best interests of the children and families, ensuring their voices are heard in the decision-making process.
  • Identify and facilitate training sessions for kinship families and fellow practitioners.
